The current ssh implementation seems to create an active console session, which only can be one. If you forgot to properly end that, you're greeted with this:

Escape character is ^] (Ctrl + ])

error: operation failed: Active console session exists for this domain

Currently hard to get out of that unless you recreate the VM.
